The Siennese “Crete” is one of the most suggestive landscapes you will admire in Tuscany. It will be possible to stop along the road to enjoy the best views and to take fabulous pictures.
After a break in Asciano to visit the centre and to taste its typical cheeses, we will reach an isolated and wild place where the Monte Oliveto Abbey rises. Over the centuries the Benedictine congregation has continued its community activity (herbalist and grape growing) following its motto: “ora et labora” ( pray and work ).
The last stops will be San Quirico d’Orcia and Pienza, two amazing hamlets that dominate the Val d’Orcia.
